Pakosh Vira/Vircya

The main purpose of her works is to evoke “something”, in the so-called viewer: emotions of any kind, questions, outrage, incomprehension, laughter, anything. The key point is that looking at them, you do not think: “Hm, not bad”, and then move on.

Born in Lviv, in 2003.  She’s working in various mediums, from painting and drawing to different textile technics to installation to photo and video. 

As she describes her own practice: “…and I’m? Trying to try? Something new every day. I can describe my process as some kind of exploration, research, that starts from within, but in the end goes a lot further and reaches areas that I haven’t even conciously thought of, I hope.”
