Krzysztof Maniak

Graduate of the Faculty of Intermedia at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow (diploma at the Transmedia Studio). A Phd candidate at the same university. Author of films, photography, and performances. His art practice revolves around actions made in landscape, such as paths made with his feet in fields, constructions made of branches and intimate and meditative performances without the audience. His works were shown at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, BWA in Katowice and the Baltic Gallery of Contemporary Art in Ustka and Słupsk. He is a laureate of numerous awards, including the ‘Talenty Trójki’ and ‘Hestia’s Artistic Journey’. He lives and works in Krakow and Tuchów.
